Roof Collapses at Purim Party on Cast of ‘Jersey Shore’

While taking the night off to celebrate the Jewish holiday of Purim in Manhattan on Saturday, part of the roof collapsed at the Masks and Mayhem event where Sex and the City star Chris Noth and Jersey Shore cast mate’s Vinny Guadagino and Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi had been partying.

Luckily for the Guido an Guidette bunch, Snooki, who was seen at the bash with her new boyfriend Emilio Masella, took to her official twitter to assure fans that she came out of the Sony Building in NYC unharmed

Marie Osmond's Son's Final Words

Being a child of a celebrity has pressures most of us don’t have to deal with. I don’t think it’s an easy thing to deal with. It seems like many celebrity children have ruinous lives and those that are well grounded seem to be the exception.

People Magazine reports:

Moments before he apparently leapt to his death Friday, Michael Blosil text messaged a female friend to alert her to a suicide note he had left in his downtown Los Angeles apartment.

According to a TMZ report, around 9 p.m. Blosil sent a text to the friend, a fellow resident of the Met apartment building with whom he had planned to spend time that night.

When she arrived at his eighth-floor apartment, Blosil's roommates – who hadn't known anything was wrong – let her in. They recovered the note, in which Blosil, a student at the nearby Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising majoring in apparel manufacturing, had written about being incredibly unhappy.

He also talked about "things he would be doing for the very last time," the TMZ report says, and called the woman "his only good friend in L.A."

By going to her death without seeking a stay of execution to prove her innocence, she saved him from the trauma of finding out that his birth father was a horrible serial killer of young girls. Her dignity and grace moved the entire team.

So there was a gathering of Teabaggers in conservative Thousand Oaks..about 60 folks showed up in the rain to protest Obama's attempts to enslave white people...he's trying to get back at us apparently and these folks won't have any of it...well, I was talking to a lady bug yesterday and she said the Teabaggers are way whacked and stuck in a time warp..the 1950s, McCarthyism, and the John Birch Society....they got commies on their minds in 2010!! then she said America is a gov't of, by and for the people...how can you not trust a lady bug???

Chile Quake Prompts Tsunami Warnings for Hawaii

From The New Times:

A deadly 8.8-magnitude earthquake struck central Chile early Saturday, collapsing buildings, shattering major bridges and highways across a long strip of the country, and sending tsunami warnings along the entire Pacific basin.

The director of the National Emergency Agency, Carmen Fernández, said that 147 people died so far, according to local news reports. The death toll was expected to rise, particularly around Concepción, Chile’s second-largest metropolitan area, which is roughly 70 miles from the quake’s center.

There, cars were overturned, rubble fell into the cracked streets and a 15-story building collapsed, news agencies and the Chilean news media reported. In Santiago, the capital, which is about five hours to the north and about 200 miles from the epicenter, frightened residents felt the city shake for nearly 90 seconds. Car alarms pierced the air during the night and early morning hours.

But while there were long lines at supermarkets and gas stations, the capital city, according to residents there, was mostly calm by the late afternoon Saturday. That was a far different picture from the devastation that rocked Concepción, five hours away. More than two dozen significant aftershocks struck the country and President Michelle Bachelet declared a “state of catastrophe.” She said later in the day that officials were not yet able to determine the full extent of the damage.

Marie Osmond's teenage son committed suicide last night, this according to law enforcement.
Michael Blosil, one of Osmond's eight children, jumped from his downtown Los Angeles apartment building.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ Michael left behind a note that said he intended to commit suicide due to a life-long battle with depression.

An autopsy will be performed and toxicology tests will be taken.

Donny Osmond released a statement that says: "Please pray for my sister and her family."

Far Left Site-Think Progress Smears Rep. Trent Franks (R-AZ) What else is new?

Rep. Trent Franks (R-AZ) does this interview with Lib blogger Mike Stark who in the below video. Stark, like all Libs mischaracterizes Rush Limbaugh as a hater, like all Libs usually do because they never want to discuss substantive issues.

Why bother when name calling and misrepresentations will do?Frank makes an impassioned criticism on the devastating consequences of abortion, particularly in the Black community where 50% of potential Black babies are aborted.

Of course like a typical lib, the substance of what Frank is saying has no impact on Stark who continues on his agenda.

But, Alex Seitz-Wald of Think Progress takes the deception even further by misrepresenting that Frank said Blacks were better off during slavery.

Frank doesn’t even come close to saying that. And even Stark himself doesn’t react to what Frank actually said by asking directly, “Are you saying Blacks were better off during slavery?” That would’ve been the logical follow up question if that was what Frank was trying to say.

But, that question was never asked because Stark understood the analogy Frank was trying to make between what’s happening to the Black community today under legalized abortion that has taken 50 innocent lives since 1973.

It’s an American Holocaust that Liberals routinely sweep under the rug.

For the next couple of days, I’m going to ask you to keep your opinions to yourselves. I’ve written it before and I’ll say it again: I generally take a libertarian view of free speech and am only reluctantly taking this step.
one of the opinion writers, Daniel Petry, supports this attempt to shut you up..he tries to paint himself as a constitution protector, West Point grad, big rah rah war guy patriot, but appears to be a big baby instead! look at this crap...his article about the under 30 generation was full of cliches and nonsense. First, he claims on a plane flight home, he sat next to two young men, a war vet and a salesman who provided the rightwing fodder for his story...his story sounds like it was bogus to the max, man! A similar story by writer Thomas Friedman has been floating around since last year..

I was going to write an article on the fourth branch of our government — the bureaucracy — until I was on a flight home and sat next to two young men.
Both were in their late 20s. One already had served three tours in the Middle East; the other was a midlevel sales manager. They didn’t know me, nor did they know each other. And the conversation we had blew me away.
Folks, you and I are walking in an absolutely clueless fog of arrogance. There is a group out there that is going to solve our problems, but it’s not going to go the way we want, nor will it be pretty. I have to agree with them. Let me say this: If you think that those who comment on Noozhawk are ticked off at one another — or at the government, or at the politicians — well, there’s a generation out there who considers us to be just white noise. We better be watching our back for the haymaker that’s coming our way — and it’s coming fast.

Drunk as a Skunk Mon Throws Baby onto Concrete Floor in Australia (Video)

CCTV footage of a mother apparently throwing her baby onto a concrete floor has been released to media by an Australian judge.

The unnamed 21-year-old mother appears to throw the 10-month-old baby to the floor, allegedly in anger after an argument with her partner.
A man then tussles with the mother, who reports say was drunk, and attempts to remove the baby from her hands.
The incident occurred in the Palmerston bus exchange in the Northern Territory, Australia last May.

The mother is pleading not guilty to recklessly endangering serious harm to the child, claiming she dropped the child by accident.
The baby was taken to hospital, but suffered no major injuries.

here's another whale's tale: Our intrepid narrator, a former schoolteacher famously called Ishmael, signs up as sailor on a whaling voyage to cure a bout of depression. On his way to find a ship in Nantucket, he meets Queequeg, a heavily tattooed South Sea Island harpooneer just returned from his latest whaling trip. Ishmael and Queequeg become best buds and roommates almost immediately. Together, they sign up for a voyage on the Pequod, which is just about to start on a three-year expedition to hunt sperm whales.On board the Pequod, Ishmael meets the mates − honest Starbuck, jolly Stubb, and fierce Flask − and the other harpooneers, Tashtego and Daggoo. The ship’s commander, Captain Ahab, remains secluded in his cabin and never shows himself to the crew. The mates organize the beginning of the voyage as though there were no captain. Just when Ishmael’s curiosity about Ahab has reached a fever pitch, Ahab starts appearing on deck – and we find out that he’s missing one leg. When Starbuck asks if it was Moby Dick, the famous White Whale, that took off his leg, Ahab admits that it was and forces the entire crew to swear that they will help him hunt Moby Dick to the ends of the earth and take revenge for his injury. They all swear.After this strange incident, things settle into a routine on board the good ship Pequod. While they’re always on the lookout for Moby Dick, the crew has a job to do: hunting sperm whales, butchering them, and harvesting the sperm oil that they store in huge barrels in the hold. Ishmael takes advantage of this lull in plot advancement to give the reader lots of contemporary background information about whale biology, the whaling industry, and sea voyages. The Pequod encounters other ships, which tell them the latest news about the White Whale. Oh yeah, and everyone discovers that Ahab has secretly smuggled an extra boat crew on board (led by a mysterious, demonic harpooneer named Fedallah) to help Ahab do battle with Moby Dick once they do find him.Over the course of more than a year, the ship travels across the Atlantic, around the southern tip of Africa, through the Indian Ocean, among the islands of southeast Asia, into the Sea of Japan, and finally to the equator in the Pacific Ocean – Moby Dick’s home turf. Despite first mate Starbuck’s misgivings and a variety of bad omens (e.g., all the navigational instruments break, a typhoon tries to push the ship backwards, and the Pequod encounters other ships that have lost crewmembers to Moby Dick’s wrath), Ahab insists on continuing to pursue his single-minded revenge quest. In a parody of the Christian ceremony of baptism, he goes so far as to dip his specially forged harpoon in human blood– just so that he’ll have the perfect weapon with which to kill Moby Dick. Finally, just when we think the novel’s going to end without ever seeing this famous White Whale, Ahab sights him and the chase is on. For three days, Ahab pursues Moby Dick, sending whaling boat after whaling boat after him – only to see each one wrecked by the indomitable whale. Charles Rangel Gets Slap on the Wrist by Ethics Committee (aka Wolves Investigating a Wolf)

Did you really think Charles “Corrupt” Rangel was going to get more than, “Don’t do that again, Charlie!” from fellow low-lifes that make up the Ethics Committee?

This sham of an investigation might as well been done by the state of Iran trying to root out global terrorism.

This is an example of Nancy Pelosi’s promise to have the most ethical congress in history.

Rangel, a tax cheat, who’s Ways and Means Committee is responsible for writing the tax laws for the country, gets to keep his job even though he’s one of the most corrupt members in congress.

The New York Post reports:

Embattled Harlem Rep. Charles Rangel broke House rules and will get a "public admonishment" from the House Ethics Committee for taking corporate-sponsored junkets to the Caribbean.

In a report to be released today, the panel concludes the Democrat accepted the trips despite House rules that prohibit financing of lawmakers' trips by corporations.

The committee found that Rangel broke the House's gift rule by getting reimbursed for the junkets.

The panel also said two Rangel staffers were aware of the corporate funding. Onr of them, identified by Fox News as his former chief of staff, George Dalley, stepped down last year.

The committee told Rangel to pay back the cost of the trips.

Under House ethics rules adopted in 2007, lawmakers can't accept trips longer than a day from any corporation that employs or retains a registered lobbyist.

Asked whether going on the trip was a mistake, Rangel replied: "Hell no. Why would I [regret going] if it was approved by the Ethics Committee?"

Let me get this straight.

Rangel hops on a plane and goes wherever, doesn’t reach into his pocket to pay for the ticket, or hotel room, but doesn’t know how it all got paid for?

Also, the very committee that authorized this junket which is a scam in itself to buy influence in congress, is the same committee who investigates Rangel for breaking House rules in the first place?

Tom Harkin at Health Care Summit: Let’s end Segregation!

Well, I was wondering when a Democrat was going to pull out the race card at this Dog and Pony Show and Tom Harkin, senator from Iowa just went there.

He was rambling on and on about the big bad insurance companies and tries to make a point about how patients with different t aliments are treated differently.

Gee, I think he this that doctors are supposed to treat cancer sufferers the same way you treat somebody with jock itch.

“People shouldn’t be segregated.” according to Sen Harkin.

Of course the substance of what he’s saying doesn’t matter. The only thing that’s important is the word “segregation” and that’s what plays subliminally in the Democrat base, namely, Black folks.

California to vote on "Cuss Free Week"

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — California lawmakers have a history of trying to keep the state's air and waters clean. Now they're tackling language.
The state Assembly is scheduled to vote on a resolution Thursday calling for a statewide "Cuss Free Week" to occur annually during the first week of March. If approved, it would go to the state Senate for a final vote on Monday.
The rest of next week will be officially swear-word free if both houses approve the resolution.
　
The resolution by Assemblyman Anthony Portantino, D-La Canada Flintridge, was inspired by a South Pasadena teenager, McKay Hatch, who founded a No Cussing Club at his junior high school in 2007. His efforts to stamp out profanity have generated international attention, with 35,000 members joining the No Cussing Club's Web site.

Whenever Democrats uttered, “Hurricane Katrina” it was a slam against President George Bush and all Republicans for the aftermath of the tragedy that befell New Orleans, Louisiana on September 3, 2005.

If you enter the name “Katrina” in Google, you’d get over 27 million hits and the hurricane is the first item that appears in the search.

That event was a tailored made template for Democrats that reinforces the deception and perception that all Republicans are racists and that’s the reason Blacks should continue to support the Democrat party at a rate of 95% and higher all across the country.

All the news organizations were gladly abroad promulgating the Katrina template and it continues to this day and will continue forever!

It was all a lie!

However, there is another side to the Katrina story of how these same Democrats like Rep Gregory Meeks, a Black politician decided to take advantage of his own people that he promised to help.

He raised over $31,000 through phony non-profit he started and never sent suffering New Orleanderss the money.

Where is the major media now?

Or is Black on Black crime not worth the bother?

The New York Post reports:

Hurricane Katrina left them with nothing but hope -- but Rep. Gregory Meeks took even that away, stiffed New Orleans families told The Post.

"For those people to use our tragedy for their gain, it's sad," said Catherine Phipps, 48, one of the Katrina victims who was given empty promises of aid by the Queens Democrat.

"It makes me want to cry. They're going to have to answer to a higher being."

The Post located victims who have returned to New Orleans, and they spoke out yesterday for the first time about Meeks' broken promises.

"I had on a pair of flip-flops -- those were my only shoes," Phipps said.

"Candace had us fill out some forms and asked us to write down what we needed. I thought that was crazy because I didn't have anything -- no clothes, no food, nothing."

The aid that had been promised never came.

In fact, after providing Sandy with laundry lists of essential items they needed for survival, the families say they never heard from her or the charity again.

Phipps, who now runs a small day-care center, said she and her family lost everything in the flood and were not able to move back into their Ninth Ward house until three years after the levees broke.

David Benke, Teacher and American Hero

It warms the heart when a legitimate American hero steps up and puts his life on the line to save others in danger. David Benke doesn’t swing a bat for a living or score touchdowns on the football field.

He’s a math teacher.

An ordinary man who did the extraordinary in Denver Colorado, while maintaining a humble spirit.

The Los Angeles Times reports:

During regular emergency drills at Deer Creek Middle School in suburban Denver, math teacher David Benke always told himself and his students that, should something dire occur, he would try to protect them.

So when he spotted a rifleman shooting at students who were leaving school Tuesday, Benke didn't hesitate. "I made a promise," he said.

The 57-year-old teacher charged the gunman and knocked him to the ground. While an assistant principal grabbed the rifle, Benke and another teacher kept the shooter pinned until police arrived.

On Wednesday, a judge ordered the accused gunman, 32-year-old Bruco Strong Eagle Eastwood, held on $1-million bail on suspicion of two counts of attempted murder. Two students were wounded -- one in the arm, the other in the rib and lung.

ACORN may be fading away, thanks to government restrictions on its funding in the wake of the scandal in which its counselors advised undercover journalists on how to evade the law. But this does nothing to change the environment that propelled the radical activist group to national power.

ACORN is part of a huge network of nonprofits that continues to promote a big-government agenda in cities across America using taxpayer money. That network is alive and well today, even if ACORN itself dies.

This movement's roots go back to the godfather of community organizing, Chicago's Saul Alinsky, who in the 1930s envisioned local grassroots groups in poor areas that would mobilize residents into politically powerful coalitions.

In the 1960s, the architects of President Lyndon Johnson's War on Poverty decided to federalize the Alinksy model by sending billions of taxpayer dollars to community groups, with a vague notion that these would somehow "empower" residents in their neighborhoods and thus improve their lives.

Instead, over time these nonprofits became the new political clubhouses in many areas -- and the activists who ran them became our next generation of politicians.

In New York, by the 1970s and '80s, the road to political office increasingly ran through taxpayer-funded nonprofits -- as politicians like Pedro Espada and Ramon Velez in The Bronx and Vito Lopez in Brooklyn used community groups as launching pads for political careers.

New York isn't unique. On Chicago's South Side, a young community organizer named Barack Obama launched a political career after heading up the Developing Communities Project, a social-service group that lived almost entirely off government grants.

The reality is growing up in California in the 60s was a dream, but a very violent time in America, and not at all a drugged out party all the time..that's just the myth and rightwingers alcoholic perception of the times...now let's look at some history and see who and what is really trying to kill America and who's trying to save her. Drugs: America's love of alcohol has clouded her thinking even today... the prohibition, if enforced, could have saved millions from a wasted life of feeding on the bottom. The Greatest Generation: during the war, this generation let illegal alien Mexicans across the border to help us at home with agriculture and general production, probably some of those wetbacks took care of some lonely wives too eh amigos? Now look at the problems we got!! boomers: music, rebellion and working class..moved us into the digital age and made my old guitars worth a fortune..THANK YOU DUDES!!!
