As we transition away from right wing politics, some righties are acting very strange..taking their frustrations out on Acorn, the working class, the mentally ill, ten-year olds and anything else that makes them uncomfortable..you'd think they'd be somewhat happy that we're still at war!the last Santa Barbara County Board of Supervisors conservative majority, with wealthy-by-inheritance Brooks Firestone as swing vote, decided to make Mike Brown CEO of county operations..the results have been disasterous...Brown should have been replaced years ago due to all the baggage and employee harassment alleged against him, instead they promoted him...
Dr. Johns, a cranky regular at supervisor meetings says Mike Brown hit Kate Smith..Andy Caldwell, a guy who
lectures the county at EVERY meeting, says the mentally ill are taking over public comments and complains to the Board of Supervisors. Andy says county CEO Mike Brown should sue the county because they allow a "hostile work environment" by allowing Dr. Johns to besmirch Mike ..Andy, you dumbass, a hostile work environment means your co-workers or supervisors can't harass or abuse you..not what the public says about you......that's why we have labor laws and unions!
Kate Smith, after singing a song for the supervisors, reminded Caldwell the Brown Act allows the public to criticize public servants in a public forum! and she's right..Kate is crazy like a fox! the Act: The legislative body of a local agency shall not prohibit public criticism of the policies, procedures, programs, or services of the agency, or of the acts or omissions of the legislative body. Nothing in this subdivision shall confer any privilege or protection for expression beyond that otherwise provided by lawbrownact
Caldwell's job is to denigrate members of the board who cross cowboy Willy Chamberlin, his sugar daddy in Santa Ynez. He's called them names and has acted like a dufus most of the time during public comment. Now he wants to censor the "mentally ill"!!!
He uses the Brown Act like a drug..always accusing the county of secret meetings...but he said his group recently honored Mike Brown at a dinner party! Isn't that a secret meeting??
Is COLAB really so stupid as to think that the Brown Act only allows certain people to speak before public officials, like white conservatives!!
Kate Smith supports the mental health programs and so do I...now, did Mike Brown really hit Kate ? and did she file a lawsuit? Neither Brown nor the board said anything or even denied the accusations!
