Driving Miss Daisy...

and Miss Julia, and Miss Wendy.....

so I'm talking to a guy from California Dept of Fish and Game. He was driving two orphaned bear cubs to Kettleman City... I said.."what!!??"... "Did you stop for Egg McMuffins, give them iphones and take them to school, too?"...
Actually, the bears were en route to Lake Tahoe to be checked and released to the wild...that's what Fish and Game does... and you know what: I think Fish and Game should take pals Wendy Mc and Julia Di Sieno from Animal Rescue Team on a little ride, get them checked out and released back to the wild where they belong... among their sisters in the animal kingdom..really.....
remember when the NewsPress was bought by Wendy McCuckoo and the first thing she did was plaster on the front page stories about meerkats...I knew we were in for trouble when she started treating wild animals like pets or smothered children...

so we're talking...this F&G fellow and I, even though the cell phone signal kept getting lost in the mountains. We chatted about the Animal Rescue Team and their bungling of the mountain lion cubs "rescue" in Solvang...the Fish and Game guy said Julia D and ART should have left the cubs alone. There was nothing wrong with them... they ran away from her after she tried to capture them, then she cornered and shot them with tranquilizer darts...
these are some more facts that obviously confused the News-Press reporters: it's illegal to catch mountain lions, Julia has no permits, and there was nothing wrong with the lions!
the coverage of this story by the News-Press has been abysmal and completely biased against the feds..they cheered on the ART and Julia D, who bungled the so-called rescue from the start..they darted the skinny cubs and assumed all sorts of health issues like malnourishment..cubs are skin and bone anyway..as they get older they are skin, bone and muscle..they work for living, they are designed to kill..they are supreme predators...I've never seen a fat mountain lion!
Now the feds are looking into possible prosecution of Julia..well, they should also prosecute Wendy for lying in editorials and stories about the cubs and contributing money to ART, a non-profit.
Wendy and Julia..partners in crime??
