A U.S. defense official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said it would be Israel's third Arrow test in the United States. The test flight would likely occur within the next several days off the central California coast, roughly between Santa Barbara and Point Mugu. The Federal Aviation Administration has issued a notice to aircraft to avoid the area, the official said... all this mayhem is taking place on and off San Nicolas Island, where the navy kills cats to save shorebirds!! is it just me or does this bother anyone??
on the one hand they want to save the Channel Islands; on the other hand they want to blow them out of the water..I swear to GOD, the people in charge of managing these California assets have got not a shred of a brain! Israel is going to conduct some missile tests off OUR COAST in its paranoid preparation of an Iran attack...Palestine and Israel need to work out their differences instead of killing each other for sport...men and women of peace needed here! this missile test should not be allowed.... it's outrageous!!

captive condors released to the wild don't seem to be doing very well..another one, #358, died after strangling himself a la David Carridine..someone left a climber's rope on the rocks in the Los Padres National Forest near Fillmore this week...the birds have lost their natural survival instinct due to captivity and are acting more like stupid pets than wild birds...the California condor should be left alone to decide its own future...people who enter the back country for recreation should not leave their garbage around...if you pack in, pack out....show a little respect for chrissakes...or I'll be patrolling in the future and my justice is swift.....

there's only one guy in the mayor race who is using the internet to his advantage...Justin Michael! He gets more publicity than anyone else... The other candidates look like amateurs..maybe this guy is not as dumb as people think!
