ok, so the Elks guys are a nonprofit charity and they invited fraud Dr. Laura to lead the motorcycle toy run in 2009..Dr. Laura is a Jew now and the guy who invited her was Jerry Herzberg, a Jew...not that there's anything wrong with that! But the whole thing smacks of such creepiness and phoniness that I must look into it.
According to the flyer, Dr. Laura is not on the docket so I must assume she was added at the last minute at the request of the Jesus freaks at the Carp Harley Davidson, who are just as phony as Dr. Laura..and who better watch their Ps&Qs or I'll shut them down with one phone call..I got the power of Jesus in me, too!the Elks Foundation is a really weird place with titles like Grand Exalted Ruler...sounds like a KKK moniker! They have tons of money and supposedly give to charity, at least on the face of it...but what are their real goals? Well, they don't let blacks and women join..so any charity they give is suspect..it's like a Columbian drug cartel giving money to the poor folks so they look good to them. But in this day and age, any club that allows only white ultra-conservative guys should be seen as a possible queer terrorist militia hangout..Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks... geez, what a crock!

Susan Carpenter lays it all out in a Los Angeles Times column. She found that, although motorcycles and scooters comprise 3.6 percent of registered vehicles in California and 1 percent of vehicle miles traveled, they account for 10 percent of passenger vehicles’ smog-forming emissions.
Motorcycle engines emit large amounts of nitrogen oxides, which along with hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide are measured by state and federal air quality regulators to determine whether vehicles meet emissions rules.
