Sextinggate: Jason Manford: I’m expecting some fireworks at home

A day after it was revealed that popular and married TV show host, Jason Manford, exchanged sexually explicit messages on Twitter with a female fan,



Debra McNamee, he desperately tried to joke his way out of a sticky situation with his expecting wife,

The Sun reports that ONE Show host Jason Manford last night admitted he faced a rocket from his missus over his Twitter sex shame.

The married comic, 29, joked to fans at a bonfire night gig: "I'm going home now. There will be fireworks at my house."

The Sun revealed he tweeted sleazy messages to a busty girl, putting his BBC1 job at risk.

He told the audience at the Cambridge Corn Exchange: "How's your day been? I've had a bad day."

Then he quipped: "I'm sorry, I can't go into it too much. I was thinking of not turning up - but you're all Guardian readers so you wouldn't know anyway."

During a gag about swearing, Manford said: "I can't say the c-word, I'm on The One Show. Well, for now, anyway."

Fans applauded the dad of two, who had them in stitches during his act.

Earlier livid BBC chiefs gave Manford a furious dressing down - warning: "Any more sex tweets and you're SACKED."

One Show host Jason Manford in Sexting Scandel with Debra McNamee UPDATE: Manford Quits One Show


Move over Brett Favre, you’re not the only one caught twisting in the wind from a sexting probe. News from across the pond in the UK are throwing people for a loop.

The Sun reports television’s One Show host Jason Manford last night sensationally admitted sending sleazy sex messages to a female fan on Twitter.

The married dad, 29, bombarded the busty 22-year-old with pervy posts and begged for topless snaps.

He said last night: "I'd like to apologise to anyone this has offended."

The fan sent sexy Twitter messages by clean-cut TV favourite Manford said last night she was stunned to learn of his "sleazy side".

Debra McNamee, 22, was bombarded with pervy posts from Manford after contacting him through the social networking site.




The comic, whose third child with wife Catherine is due next month, began sending private messages and begged her to send him topless snaps.
He later also described in detail how he had performed a sex act while looking at them.

Debra, from Wolverhampton, West Midlands, said: "Jason's got a reputation as being very clean-cut - but there's obviously a more sleazy side to him too.

"I was really shocked by the way he pursued me and I think most people will be too. If I were his wife today I'd be furious."

Manford took over his BBC1 role from Adrian Chiles last July and is one of the most prolific Tweeters in showbiz with more than 200,000 followers - many of them young girls.

He first met Debra online on October 22 when she posted a message on his official Twitter page.

2nd UPDATE: One Show's Jason Manford is forgiven by wife for Twitter sex messages

After apologising himself last week for sending the saucy messages to a fan on Twitter, One Show host Jason Manford has now been forgiven by his pregnant wife Catherine.

Despite her willingness to forgive, he certainly didn't get off too lightly!He told the audience at a gig where he was performing: "Did you have a good weekend? Yes? Good, I'm glad someone did."It's been an interesting weekend.

The wife's alright and that's the main thing."There were some fireworks at my house on Bonfire Night."She called me a d**khead and now we are alright again. We've all done it."

Speak for yourself, Jason!

3rd UPDATE: Jason Manford quits The One Show to 'concentrate on his family' after sex message claims

Jason Manford has quit The One Show after allegedly sharing sexual internet messages with female fans.

The married comedian handed his resignation to bosses, stating that he wanted to leave ‘to concentrate on my family and tour commitments’.

The 29-year-old apologised to fans and his family earlier this month after he was accused of exchanging several Twitter messages.

The BBC1 flagship show will not be screened tonight because of the Children In Need charity telethon.
