You're Fired!!!

no justice, no brains...
so I'm thinking that Santa Barbara has some of the dumbest judges ever to wear a robe...just plain dumb..stupider than Jupiter...unbelieveable..if we can't count on judges to administer justice, then what is the point of court..must we try everything in the court of public opinion? The latest gaffe, reported in the Independent and now everywhere else, is the Jesusita fire ruling. Judge Jean Dandona said the idiot weed whacker trail gnomes didn't need a hot work permit to clear the trails. They were using gas power tools on a hot windy day..same with the Zaca fire, the guys were welding on a hot day in the hills. If these morons had asked for a permit, it would not have been granted and the fires would not have started and people would not have lost their homes...period! So the judge is a moron for not knowing what hot work is and not knowing what the fire triangle is..maybe the judge should read this blog!
The judge says that there's nothing in the Fire Code about weed whackers needing a Hot Work Permit...but the Code clearly explains: Hot Work. Electric or gas welding, cutting, brazing or any extreme heat, flame, or spark producing procedures or operations... using gas powered weed whackers will produce sparks if you hit some rocks and then....FIRE!!
the bottom line..trails don't need all these people maintaining them with tools..they need people to WALK ON THEM..that's all!! That's all the maintenance these busy bodies should be doing...and the only flames I want to see is when this Judge gets FIRED!!
