Before Ocean’s 11 and other heist movie we love so much, there was a 1971 film, The Anderson Tapes, starring James Bond heartthrob, Sean Connery, and a young Christopher Walken which set the standard.
I have never forgotten this flack directed by the great Sidney Lumet, who also directed such classics as Serpico, 12 Angry Men, Fail Safe, Network and a slew of other critically acclaimed films.
You won’t regret adding this movie to your collection.
Special Note: Post 911 surveillance makes this movie very relevant and big government can still be inefficient despite cutting edge technology.
