The Huffington Post reports that though Argentine pilot Dino Moline's air show routines are normally filled with death-defying stunts, he came terrifyingly close to suffering a tragic fate Sunday after the wing of his RANS Air Brigade plane broke off in mid-air during his performance at the El Trebol aviation club in Santa Fe, Argentina.
According to reports, the 22-year-old pilot was thrown into an immediate panic, yet awestruck spectators simply watched as the plane began plummeting toward the ground in flames, assuming it was part of the ambitious display. Fortunately, Moline managed to deploy a parachute that protected the entire plane, enabling him to land safely with only minor injuries including a burnt foot.
