what's Fiesta without the rodeo? I went Saturday to check it out hoping to see some protesters....RODEO IS CRUEL TO ANIMALS! they claim...is it? let's see....but first Earl Warren Showgrounds is a great place, one of the old parts of California that we should save and use and cherish..so far we have...back in the day, we kids used to go, after getting reluctant permission from our parents, and see the Doors, Hendrix, Janis, Zep, Alice Kooper, the Grass Roots, Jefferson Airplane and many more..it was like a big junior high school dance under the dome and we thought we were so cool..trying to be independent yet living at home with mom and dad going to school..those were fun and funny times....as SBJHS said: truth, liberty and toleration....I think they meant "tolerance" in the proper grammatical form, but hey, it's a public school..the Glee Club! the Folk Song Club! oh, the innocence makes me weep!! and I attended with black kids, white kids, Mexican kids, Asian kids and that's what I loved about California....TOLERATION!!! so let's not backslide and allow bigotry from the uninitiated to become law..ok? Dale..Mike... ok then...
so on wid da rodeo...."OUCH... you're hurting my leg!" said the poor little cow as someone tied up his balls and prodded him with a stun gun....out of the narrow chute he goes with a wild fearful look in his bulging eyes as the cowpokes on horses track him down, rope him, and knock him down to the ground and basically kick his ass and humiliate him...see, in life you got the workers (cows in our story) and the ruling class (cow folk)...or to put it in other terms, reporters (cows) and Wendy-types (cow folk)..
I look around in the stands and see mostly white Christians with cowboy hats on and neat horses...God Country and War....Bushies mostly....but some of the girls and women, although apparently mentally unstable, would benefit from a "roll in the hay" with me..I'll open my "barn door" and see what they do! hey baby, wanna hold my pitchfork!! then my jaw drops when I see a cowgirl on her horse, if not playing with, then appears to be checking out her pussy in broad dayfog!! wow..cooool! I'll call her "Ms. Fiesta Britches"! c'mon baby light my fire!! hey guys... didya ever fuck a woman who sounds like a ghost?? "whohoo whohoo whooohoohoo"... so my conclusion is rodeo is not really cruel to animals, it's just not conducive to bringing out the best in farm animals, not conducive to happy juvenile cows...not conducive to helping a cow be all that it can be...remember, these young cows are the future and how we treat them today will inform the type of adults they will be...
