There was a letter in the News-Press yesterday by a guy named Clark Vandeventer.
Clark was miffed because he is sponsoring a "civil" health debate forum and no one wants to show up except Joe Armendariz from the Carp city council...the others who were invited but told him no include Susan Rose, Lois Capps Salud Carbajal, Das Williams...Vandeventer goes on to say that Das would rather hide behind a picket sign, referring to the Lois Capps rally, than go to the debate.
But Vandeventer himself hides behind the News-Press in a letter to the editor to attack his political enemies!!
ok..politics as usual..tit for tat .. or two tits for a dollar!
After checking out Clark, I can see why a rational person would decline the offer to attend the debate..this guy is weird!
The kicker here is Clark's non-profit, the Vandeventer Group, is sponsoring the "debate". They "work to build concensus on public policy issues" so he says..The reason Joe A was so quick to sign on is because he loves the easy money from non-profits..Armendariz never met a non-profit he didn't like...Joe's like a non-profit ho!!
OK...so I look for some info on Vandeventer and he's just another religious rightwing lunatic fanatic cultist..a televangelist-type. He is originally from Indiana and heads a thing called World Changers Inc whose goal is to brainwash as many sheep as possible and then steal their money! He's a professional fundraiser for Jesus!!
He wants to move the Christian ministry out of the church into the mainstream:World Changers is also dedicated to the development of kingdom building businesses. The prototype for this concept is Finestra Cafe located in downtown Santa Barbara. The purpose of kingdom building businesses is to move the ministry out of the church and into every day life--it is taking common things and making them sacred.
from one of his critics: He goes on to continue pumping his California "organization" WorldChangers.us.com. Who names their organization with all that confusing .us.com crap? Only make-money-fast schemes from spam e-mails use URLs like that. Most groups use .org... I decided to do a little investigating. After all, I might find a para-military unit like the nutjobs from Florida. Instead, I find a shill site for Darth Vandeventer.
You'll find information about how much money he'll bring in for your organization through "philanthropic advisory services" and "the concept of Kingdom Building Businesses." Changing the world? Hardly. Changing his pocketbook? Definitely.
He'll help you grow your conservative org's wallet or he'll help you grow your own purse by coaching your business. He even has a handy blog that details (among other exciting topics) his experience at Staples and how first impressions matter. No mention of Jesus.
This guy is no different than Pat Robertson, Dr. James Dobson, Ralph Reed and all those other phony "values" pieces of dogshit posing as spiritual leaders...
here's some fun links from Indiana:
