Ohio State U Shooting
Breaking News at OSU
From Norwalk Reflector:
An Ohio State University custodial worker, thought to be upset about a poor job evaluation, opened fire in a maintenance building at 3:30 a.m. today, killing a manager and then himself.
The gunman, Nathaniel Brown, 51, sustained a self-inflicted gunshot at the scene and was transported to OSU Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead on arrival, police said.
Larry Wallington, 48, building services manager, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another shooting victim, Henry Butler, 60, operations shift leader, was listed in stable condition at the OSU Medical Center.
According to an e-mail from OSU Emergency Management to the university community, more than a half dozen employees were working at the OSU Maintenance Building at 2000 Tuttle Park Place when Wallington entered an office suite dressed in dark clothing carrying two handguns and began shooting, the university’s Web site reported.
