well, now that Travis is gone, we get another nitpicker in Terry Tyler, the guy who lost a city council race years ago, who lost his job with the city and who lost his nonprofit when his wife quit... I guess you could say he's a loser...now, if we are satisfied with Tyler and Lan Ebenstein as editorial writers for the new improved News-Press, then we must be the Stepford Wives. I swear, Travis, Terry and Lanny have interchangeable brains it appears..they all say the same things over and over and over. Tyler's newest stab at an editorial takes the form of the very old red brick sidewalk/crosswalk phobia! This guy is as dumb as a bag of dead squirrels! Look at this nonsense: do red 
bricks do this, will red bricks do that..will we trip over them??Tyler, why are you wasting my time with your stupid ass concerns about sidewalks?? There are bigger issues at the council level that demand your attention and response. If indeed you are the new editorial page editor, then act like it!! Did you see the recent city council meeting? Did you notice a problem? Well, I did. Roger Horton is wearing a rug!! Check it out..I don't remember Roger as having such luxurious locks! Do you? And who would notice that neither Dale Francisco nor Helene Schneider was at this meeting?
I would Terry..would you?? You need to check these things out..check the local motels for Pete's sake..who knows what these two were up to!! and why did Dale show up at the night session wearing a red polka dot tie and a frog in his throat??..these are the questions that News-Press readers want answers to...and frankly, they deserve it!!
